Residential Gas Leak Shuts Maywood Block

Vehicles were being diverted to surrounding streets as crews worked to locate a gas leak in a home near Coolidge Ave. and Spring Valley Road, according to a resident waiting in her car outside of her home.

Authorities shut down portions of Coolidge Ave., Spring Valley Rd., Oak Ave. and Palmer Ave.

Fire officials declined to comment.

Responders included the Maywood Fire Department.
